CrossFitSomersX is a nearly 3000 sq ft fitness facility in Somers, New York dedicated to the CrossFit methodology of training. More than just a gym, we offer beginner to advanced level classes in functional exercise, athletic conditioning, strength training, plyometrics, kettlebell training, Olympic weightlifting, medicine ball and dumbbell training, gymnastics, rowing and running. CrossFit is a method of training that utilizes functional varied movements executed at high intensity. Our programming focuses on optimizing physical competence in each of 10 recognized fitness domains:

Our programs are limited to small groups of athletes to ensure personal attention by the coach for each client. Athletes will receive total athletic development training integrating both traditional and cutting edge methods of speed & strength training in order to develop an athlete beyond their athletic potential. Each session is designed to promote intensity and competition in a fun, learning environment. Our dedication to the athletes and genuine concern in developing better athletes goes far beyond the fields of play and into the field of life. The athlete with the most speed is almost always going to be more successful. The fact that you’re reading this right now tells me that you know this is true and that you or your athletes are not as fast as you want them to be. The key is to develop overall athletic ability by developing all the elements required for success in any sport: speed, agility, strength, coordination, power, flexibility and conditioning. These speed training exercises are safe and very effective for any athlete at any level of competition and age: beginner, youth, high school, collegiate, and professional.
